II. Officer Reports

    - President-

    - Treasurer - $4923.88 - Balance

    - Ms. Fillion - Issue with the date of Convention, Mothers day Reason: SATs weekend

            *not the only letter on the subject.

*Zach’s idea to solve this: Mothers day make cards for chaperones.*

    - need an updated list of what school still teach Latin and take the

ones off the list who don’t

    -Classics Day makes money and Catapult. $1500 from snowball

    State convention - split up the scholarship for nationals so everyone’s cost is lowered

    -2 scholarships-

Lunenburg scholarship toward nationals.

III. Classics Day Update-

    -16 Speakers in line already for Classics day

    - Grace has there needs in line

    -Invites to send out soon by next week need address stickers

    -Deadline for payment : November 1^st

    -Maps of the buildings and rooms- kids get lost

    -Date of Event: December 10^th Thursday

-IV. Online Report- 10:30am

    -up and running

    -working on photo galleries

    -put the newsletter up on line

    -Forms to put up online

    -Catapult

    -Contest rules

    -Changing the names of previous officers to new officers

    -Archiving previous minutes on the website

V. Community Service Project- 11:23

    -Day of Service- April 10^th Give back to the elderly

    -every chapter will all go out and do something that pertains to that theme

    -letter to send to the place before the day of service

    -Walk for Hunger- MassJCL team carry signs get our name out there

wear togas in Boston common

VI. “Voice Your School” Day

    -cost $150 flyer and registration form sent in the September mailing

    -contacting schools personally to get more people to come

    -@ Lunenburg

    -Senate- (open Forum)

    -discuss how they liked VYS?
