MassJCL invites you to Virtual Classics Day 2020, which will be held on October 24th.

This year’s theme is
Classics and Today-
Exploring the ways the Classics have influenced modern society and understanding how classical studies
both broaden our perspective of the world and equip us with tools to contribute to our communities.
The event (essentially a combination of MassJCL’s annual Kickoff, Praetoria, and Classics Day events) will be virtual and all-day,
and students that sign up will be able to come and go as they please, depending on their personal schedules and their interest in the activities offered.
MassJCL, non-JCL, and out-of-state JCL students are all invited to attend!
Costs of Attendance-
All MassJCL students- $4
All out-of-state JCL students- $6
All sponsors and teachers- Free

Payment will be Venmo or a check mailed to MassJCL chair Coach Fontin
Activities
- 40-Minute presentations from notable people of influence, plus Q&A related to the theme of “Classics and Today” (three live, one recorded)

- Praetoria (officer Q&A and sponsor/Certamen workshops intended to help JCLers prepare for the year)

- Street Certamen, catapults, trivia games, Zoom games, socials, and more!
